Hey Guys
Sorry this took so long to set up. I just wanted to take a few moment's to let you know what is going on in my life here at ihopu.
As many of you know i made it safely to Kansas City Mo. On Jan. 8 and started Orientation on Jan 13 and then classes started on Jan 17 2011.
During orientation i was so blessed they took time to pray and prophecy over each student to bless us. They told us up front that it is going to get hard and we are going to want to quit, we will be killing our flesh with fasting and early morning prayer. During the first or second session during orientation the holy spirit wanted to minister to a couple of students in our class and the people speaking let him to his work. they gave way to the holy spirit and ministered to the people and i knew that this is where i wanted to be. I wanted to be in a learning atmosphere that will give way to what God wants to do in our lives. This is now a pretty common occurrence where we are having class and the teacher stops and starts ministering to someone in the class or to half the class and we get touched in a powerful way. thank you so much for your prayer and financial support.
Here is what my week looks like we spend 24 hrs a week in the prayer room and 12 hrs in class a week and the rest of the time is free time or for homework i have been taking extra time to study and do my assignments. (since i have been out of school for so long and for get how to write and study.)
Our prayer room hrs are from 6 am to 930 Monday to Thursday and then 8-10 on Friday and we are required to be at the Friday Evening service and the Sat evening services as part of our prayer room time. We as students are part of the ministry team for these services and have opportunity to serve in other areas on the missions base as well. Our Class time is from 10 to 12 Monday to Thursday and Tuesday afternoon we have Chapel. We also have a discipleship group that is a small group that is lead by upper class men and has people from my same year in it. This D group is really good we encourage each other to keep going for God and to live pure, the main point of this group is to keep us pure before God and Man.
Awesome Ron! Go deep!!!
